ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
Admission to the four year B.D.S. course shall be through a competitive Examination (CPMT) held by the Government of U.P. or through UPCAT-Dental, conducted by association of dental college s of U.P. Constitutional reservation for the admission to this course shell also be controlled by the Govt.
All candidates desirous of seeking admission must obtain at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in Intermediate or equivalent Examination. For SC/ST the minimum marks in Intermediate or equivalent examination shall be 40%.
Admission to foreign nationals is also available under Management Quota.

MEDALS/SCHOLARSHIPS

  • A student who stands first in aggregate in 1st,2nd,3rd,and final examination of the institute (with a minimum of 75% marks) shall be awarded a Gold Medal.
  • A student who stands second in aggregate in 1st,2nd,3rd,and final examination of the institute shall be awarded a Silver Medal.
  • A student who tops in aggregate of all the four examination shall be declared as the "Best Graduate" and be awarded a Gold Medal.such a student must pass all the annual examinations in first attempt and without a gap.
  • The prize of "Excellence in Clinical Work"shall be awarded to one of the final year students on the recommendation of a committee comprising the Heads of clinical dental subjects.
  • In addition to the above ,a certain number of poor and deserving students may be awarded scholarship or some concession in tution fee by Managing Committee on the recommendation of Academic Council Of the Institute.
