The decision to start a Medical College & Hospital by the Rohilkhand Educational & Charitable Trust was the result of a need to provide world class yet economical medical aid to the needy, and also to impart world class medical education so as to produce enlightened & humane doctors, who would make the nation proud.

Rohilkhand region caters to a large population of 3 crores including Nepal and a need for economical medical aid was always felt in this region. Also this area is emerging as an educational hub, so the need for a good medical college was looming large. The success of Institute of Dental Sciences was an impetus to start a medical college & hospital that would cater to this need.

Initial ground work was done by visiting the best medical colleges in the country & abroad. The task was challenging but by hard work and co-operation of all concerned it has successfully resulted in the building of a good medical college with one of the best faculty appointments. Our endeavour is for providing quality medical education and moulding Doctors to make our country proud.

The base of a good medical education is the provision of an inflow of a large number of patients. Towards this goal a 350 bedded teaching hospital has been started which will be expanded to 500 teaching beds in 2 years.

It has been our endeavour to provide an environment conducive to learning. For this a large central library well stocked with books, Journals and internet facilities exists. Also planned are courses in allied fields to provide well –trained staff to look after the patients. Towards this goal a Nursing and Paramedical college has also been started
