ENVIRONMENT & SPECIAL FEATURES

Rohilkhand School of nursing provides a rich and wholesome environment. The building is safe, clean, spacious and well furnished, free from noise & pollution and facilities for the implementation of advanced technology with computer system is available. .

SCHOOL LIBRARY

There is a large collection of latest nursing books, medical books, journals, nursing and health care magazines. Other books and magazines of various categories are also avaliable in the library. Besides books & magazines, audio and video CD's are also available in the library.

AUDIO VISUAL AID

Audio visual aids are available in the form of various kinds of charts, posters,models,dummy,over head projector, epidiascope, etc.

COMPUTER LAB

We have well furnished computer lab with 10 latest computers to impart computer education to the nursing students.

TRANSPORT

We have a separate school of nursing 42 seater bus for the students for their community health experience in urban and rural areas like PHC, CHC and affiliated centres.

HOSTEL

There is a separate well furnished hostel with accomodation for 120 nursing students in the hospital campus only. Each room provides a accomodation for 2 students wirth attached toilet.Beds with mattresses and reading table with chairs are also provided in each room. Security arrangements are strictly maintained round the clock in the hostel premises and the hospital area.

DINNING HALL

Dinning room is spacious, ventilated and hygienic with adequate tables, chair, water cooler with purifier, refrigerator, heating facilities and the hand-washing facilities. Big modern kitchen is also attached to it.

LABORATORIES

Rohilkhand School of Nursing is furnished with well equipped laboratories as:

  • Community lab
  • Computer lab.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

    1. AGE: 17 years to 35 years as on 1st September.
    2. MINIMUM EDUCATION: Intermediate Pass 10+2 or its equivalent.
    3. SUBJECTS:Hindi & English is compulsory in high school and intermediate. Preference will be given to the candidates with science subjects.
    4. Admission of candidates will be determined on the basic of an entrance examination and interview.
    5. Candidate should be medically fit.
    6. Candidate should be willing to obey all the rules of the Keshlata school of Nursing/ Hospital.
    7. Incomplete forms will not be entertained.
    8. The following photo state copies of certificates should be attached with the form-

      2-High School Marksheet
      3-Intermediate Certificate (10+2)
      4-Intermediate Marksheet
      5-Character Certificate from the principal of the school/college last attended

    WITHDRAWAL FROM THE COURSE

    If, after registration, the student withdraws from the course, fees deposited will not be refunded.

    TRAINING PROGRAMME
    Duration of the Course

    Dinning room is spacious, ventilated and hygienic with adequate tables The Diploma Course for general nursing and midwifery shall be of three years and six month duration respectively.

    Preliminary/Probationary Training Period (P.T.S.)

    The PTS. period for student shall be of three months(12 weeks). During this period, the student will attend lectures in the class room. they will attend wards for observation and supervised practice. An examination will also be conducted during P.T.S. period to assess the ability of the student to continue the course. After the completion of the P.T.S. period, There will be a "Candle Light Ceremoney" for the successful candidates.
