AIMS & OBJECTIVES

ROHILKHAND SCHOOL OF NURSING

School of nursing is located at Pilibhit by road , Bareilly.It is about 5 Km. from the bus stand and 6 Km. from the railway station. The Nursing School building is newly built, well planed with large open area, well furnished offices, ventilated class rooms, well equipped library and a computer lab. Thera is a big assembly hall, recreation room and a visitor room for student nurses. The idea to start this school of nursing was conceived by Dr.Keshav and Dr. Lata keeping this view in mind that patient need qualified and trained nurses who can give comprehensive nursing care to the patient and also our young generation should come forward and utilized their potentialities by taking this 3 1/2 years of diploma course.

STATEMENT OF PHILOSOPHY


The faculty of Rohilkhand school of Nursing believe that modern nursing is dynamic, therapeutic and is an educational process in meeting the health needs of the individual family and the community and we feel that formal nursing education is the only way through which professional nurses can be prepared to work in various setting of the hospital and the community.

We also recognise that the students should be well trained to enable them to give care to the patient with the spirit of devotion, sympathy and commitment. They are able to make decision in time of emergency and able to give comprehensive nursing care to the patients, individuals, families and communities.

We also believe that intellectual development,creativity and curiosity are integral parts of the educational process and we feel that effective motivation and purposeful self activity is conducive to optimum learning. We accept ,we have the responsibility to train the students to acquire the knowledge, develop skill s and positive attitude to enable them to carryout their duties and responsibilities as competent professional nurses.

The main aims & objectives of the Rohilkhand School of Nursing are:

    • To train students with scientific knowledge and principles.
    • To prepare competent professional nurse with a sound education program of General Nursing and Midwifery education.
    • To improve the standard & status of Technician.
    • To maintain the dignity & honor of Nursing profession.
    • To help student develop an ability to cooperate and coordinate with members of the health teams in the prevention of diseases, promotion of health and rehabilitation of the sick.
    • To guide students in their personal & professional development.
    • To prepare nurses with latest technology and professional development.
    • To help nurses to meet the challenging needs of nursing profession.
    • To provide the best possible opportunities for learning in actual situation and for practising in rural and urban communities.
