VISITORS/VISITATIONS

  • Visitors shall be received in the visitors room only.
  • Relatives and friends permitted by the parents in writing to the principal are only allowed to visit the students.
  • Saturday is the only visiting day. Students can be visited their parents and relations in the week days also with the prior information & approval of the principal.
  • Students are allowed to visit only during office hours from 9:00 AM. to 4:00 Pm.
  • Under no circumstance will any visitor be permitted to enter the rooms at any time ofthe day or night.
  • No student is allowed to be out of the hostel after 7:00 P.M. Students are not expected to stroll around in front of the Hostel after the roll call by the hostel warden.
  • students are not permitted to go to the hospital when off duty unless they get prior written permission from the Principal.
  • When a student is on duty she will not leave the ward in which she is working to visit patients in other wards or departments.
  • Permission to stay out over night will be granted by the principle twice a month on request.
  • Station leaving permission will be granted by the principal.
  • In case of emergency, if student ask for leave, The principal and the Warden should be approached.
  • Students are allowed to go to the local guardian's place as per the written permission of the parents.
    UNIFORM

    During P.T.S. Period students uniform consist of plain gray coloured Kurta with V-neck and half Sleeves above elbow, White salwar, White duppatta and white canvas shoes. In winter a black Sweater/Gray Coat is worn over the uniform. An extra sweater or other warm clothing if worn under the uniform should not be seen.

    After three months there would be candle lighting service and half sleeves white apron will be added in the uniform. Full uniform is required to be worn on duty, For examination and while attending class room lectures and demonstrations and clinical teachings. When in uniform, The student must be neatly dressed up with their hair folded up neatly. Students are not allowed to wear any kind of jewellery or come on duty with painted long nails or lipstick.

    OFFICE HOURS

    Parents, guardians or other visitors may see the aprincipal/Vice Principal/ Sister tutors during office hours between 9:00 A.M. To 1:00 P.M. and 2:00 P.M. To 4:00 P.M.

    HEALTH POLICY

    A complete physical examination is must for any new student within seven days after the arrival of the student to the school of the nursing. Every student is required to take preventive inoculation and vaccination for Hepatites-B, Typhoid and Cholera and other communicable disease as considered necessary.

    In case if a student falls sick during leave and can not return on time, She must inform to the principal by telegram or telephone at once and must bring a medical certificate from the Medical Officer with his name, address and registration number. Student will be examined by the Medical Officer of Keshlata Hospital on her return after leave to determine whether she is fit for duty or not.
